1996:    
We started out as an Assembly and Welding Department, as part of MATRICI S. Coop. Essentially, our efforts involved hemming in the automobile sector.
2000: in 2000 this gave rise to the company MATRICI Sistemas e Ingeniería S.A. seeing us transferred to the new premises in Urduliz-Bizkaia.
2006: On the 1st of June, 2006 we became a Cooperative company, as part of Grupo Mondragón, and more specifically, part of the Tooling and Systems Division.
2012: As a result of a thorough strategic review and the change of the pattern of our organization, we established the objective of optimizing our production capacity. This translated into access to new customers and markets and the retention of a loyal customer base as well as an increase in the size of our projects.
2015: The opening of our sales office in Mexico D.F. marked the start of our international operations to supply our NAFTA markets locally. At the end of the year we opened our office in Puebla by drawing from the resources of our parent company combined with local talent, and established the capacity to tackle our first engineering projects for this market.
2106: In June we opened our production plant in Parque Finsa, Puebla (Mexico), and won our first significant order for the turn-key supply of two BIW assembly lines which comprise more than 20 welding robots.

 

We are a 2nd level Cooperative, i.e. the Share Capital consists of the following:

  • 19% of the share capital is of MONDRAGON INVERSIONES.

 

  • 23% of the share capital is of Working Partners.
